Designer Erdem Partners with Cutler & Gross for New Sunglass Collection

One of fashion’s most talented rising stars, designer Erdem, has joined forces with Cutler & Gross to create a new sunglass collection for spring/summer of 2010.

Inspired by an image of a Japanese fisherwoman dressed in brightly printed shorts charging out from the waves across black sand, the glasses take on a Sixties shape.. –via vogue.co.uk.

Expect his continued use of unique prints and color. He’ll be expressing his signature look in every aspect of this new collection. The designs will come in black, black lace, tortoise, neutral stone and his known ‘Kyoto print.’

For those of you not as familiar with the UK designer, he’s worked with Diane von Furstenberg and has won the prestigious Fashion Fringe award in ’05.

These new accessories will be available at Culter & Gross for £290 in London.

So LUXies, what do you think of the ‘sixties’ inspired designs?
