Erin Fetherston: Flirty Fall 2009 Collection
LUXies, be on the look out for this year’s new fall line by designer Erin Fetherston, as she continues to set the standard in fashion. This collection promises her usual perfection, although making a unique statement with the ‘tailored and feminine’ lines of the pieces fitting just ideal together!
“This is not the time for irreverent clothing. I wanted to create pieces that felt polished and went together to maintain some sense of order since the world is so chaotic. The collection pays respect to what’s going on,” she said of her fall 2009 collection, adding that the clothes were still infused with her signature playfulness and whimsy, although a bit more bohemian than usual. –via Stylecaster.com
We adore the self-made Fetherston and her designs that have been showcased on the runway of Bryant Park since 2006. Her clothing has been adorned by the likes of Zooey Deschanel, Anne Hathaway, Winona Ryder, Cameron Diaz and Kristen Dunst to just mention a few. She is best known for her ‘Target Go International’ Collection back in 2007.
