Taylor’s Closet: Fashion For Girls In Need

Love and Hope is the motto of 18 year old Lindsay Giambattista, the big hearted teen who is one part philanthropist, one part fashionista. Four years ago Lindsay decided she wanted to make a difference in the world but wasn’t sure exactly how. Realizing that all girls want to look and feel pretty, but not everyone has the same ability to buy new clothes, she decided to start Taylor’s Closet, an organization that provides high quality clothing to girls in need for the amazing price of free.

In just four years time, Taylor’s Closet has not only grown immensely, it has also taken on many very cool projects. When the shop first opened, Lindsay was offering girls second hand clothing. Today, designers and retailers are donating brand new merchandise and the girls get to choose from goods that have never been worn before! Feeling the momentum, Lindsay decided she wanted to spread the love internationally. The result? A temporary shop in the Ukraine that clothed more than 150 orphans. Since then, she has launched a TC merchandise line and is now working with her community to provide a network of support for the girls, teaching life skills and providing mentorship. There is nothing this girl cannot do!

What’s on the radar for Lindsay? “Once were done reaching all 32,000 girls at risk in South Florida, Im on to every single at-risk girl in the world with Taylors Closet. Thats not a joke, either.” We believe in you girl! Go, Lindsay, Go!
