Lucca Couture reveals a romantic collection for Spring 2012
Girly and flirty, Lucca Couture always turns heads with its bohemian chic vibe. The Los Angeles-based contemporary brand is known for fusing comfort with fashion and creating effortless looks that appeal to not only the bohemian girl, but also to the classy uptown woman and the edgy hipster. Cozy knits and playful dresses have been spotted on numerous celebrities from Kourtney Kardashian to Kelly Osbourne and even Jessica Alba, exuding versatility and desirability.
Behind the eclectic style of Lucca Couture is CEO and head of the design team, Jane Moon. The creative mastermind grew up in the fashion industry thanks to her parents’ garment manufacturing company and initially aimed for a degree in law, only to return to the family business and develop it into what Lucca Couture is today. Now, every season Moon and her team travel to the fashion capitals of the world seeking inspiration to craft fresh collections that bridge the gap between high-end fashion and everyday street style.

For Spring 2012, Lucca Couture’s collection revealed a romantic fairytale that combined nouveau prep with the brand’s bohemian roots. Moon merged soft pastels of pink, blue, mint and yellow with airy silhouettes, resulting in a delicate yet sultry attitude. The collection highlighted loose semi-sheer blouses, light button-up tanks and easygoing knitwear. Two-tone skirts, floral print and colorful striped separates, lace maxis and unique cutout jumpsuits delivered a shot of energy, creating a mix-and-match assortment to style numerous multi-dimensional ensembles fit for sunny days.
