LUX-Getaway: Loews Santa Monica Beach Hotel, Opens New Eco-Spa and Gym

Looking to get away and renew your spirit? Perhaps, you just want a change of scenery during your wellness routine. Well LUXies, it seems we just might have that perfect LUX-option you were asking for.

Loews Santa Monica Beach Hotel has just reopened their 7,000-square-foot Ocean Spa and Fitness center. Utilizing the latest in green and sustainable resources, this newly equipped gym was made with entirely eco-friendly building practices. Thus, making your visit both YOU and EARTH-friendly!

From the wall panels made with 40% post-industrial recycled resin called ‘Ecoresin,’ repurposed ceiling tiles made by Armstrong, recycled rubber floors and cradle-to-cradle certification of Shaw Carpet, even the furniture was made with reclaimed wood. Seriously, this is ECO-LUX!

The spa has also been eco-ified by revamping their menu options to include certified organic ingredients and now offering paraben- and chemical-free products!! One of the most enticing treatments is the ‘Beachcomber,’ which includes ‘beautiful tiger clam shells collected from the sea and infused with self-heating mineral rich kelp and sea water to melt away muscle tension.’

What’s even better is locals can actually access the benefits of this eco-chic spa and LUX-workout facility by purchasing memberships for the minimum of 3 months—allowing access to all the amenities without the cost of the overnight stay!!
