LUX Look: LadyLUX’s 54th Grammy Fashion Highlights

It’s award season and we at LadyLUX love to gush over the stars’ fashion picks, and the 54th Grammy Awards was especially gossip worthy! The Grammys are unique from other award shows in that celebrities tend to make more creative statements and bolder choices in order to show off their distinctive style. Here are our personal highlights from the evening!

Best Dressed

Gwyneth Paltrow is best dressed in this beautiful and simple black Stella McCartney. She always looks fabulous and this is no exception. The cut-outs and high neck have that edgy & retro feel that Gwyneth pulls off so effortlessly, while the long dress & gold belt keep the dress classic and stunning. To complete the look, her slicked back pony-tail and low-key natural make-up keeps her look modern and fresh & takes nothing away from the ensemble.

Best Dressed Male

Adam Levine walked the red carpet in this 3 piece grey suit with a style like he just left mens fashion week in Milan. My favorite detail about his outfit is the peak lapel on his jacket brings out some formality in the suit which otherwise doesn't have a lot of flair. The careful use of refined detail continues with different patterns of blue in his shirt, thick tie and circular pattern pocket square. Simple black loafers and stainless steel Rolex finishes off his outfit and makes him the best dressed male.

Best Beauty

Kate Beckinsale looks flawless on the red carpet, showing off a voluminous up-do with cascading curls. Always a fan of an up-do, it highlights her gorgeous cheek bones and decolletage. Simple makeup and stunning earrings by Sutra, perfectly complement her one shoulder Zuhair Murad mini dress.

Most Unexpected

Known for her past fashion faux pas, Paris Hilton makes a surprisingly stunning entrance at this year’s Grammys. She is a showstopper in this gorgeous white Bella Soda couture gown with gold embellishments and lace detail. The mirrored gold belt perfectly cinches her waist, creating an elegant, statuesque silhouette.

Most Event Appropriate

For most event appropriate, I choose Fergie in orange sheer Jean Paul Gaultier Haute Couture, Walter Steiger shoes, Judith Leiber clutch and Neil Lane jewelry. Looking radiant, the 36 year old pop-star stunned in a what some will perceive a bold fashion risk with critics either loving or hating this look, a daring couture lace gown. Covering her lady bits, Fergie donned a lingerie trend of high-waist knickers, looking absolutely Fergalicious.
