New 2010 Collection of Shoes for Accessories Brand Foot Petals

Our FAV shoe cushion brand, Foot Petals, has just announced that they’ll be launching new bridal and special occasion footwear in 2010.

With fashion and comfort in mind, this new shoe collection is influenced by their customers’ demands.

Founded by Tina Aldatz, who herself was faced with fashion versus comfort and was determined to find a better way. With that, she developed the original brand of ‘shoe cushions,’ which we now know of as Foot Petals back in 2001.

“It’s a natural progression for us,” said Aldatz, whose footwear accessories are stocked at about 5,000 stores and 100 online retailers, including Nordstrom, Dillard’s, Neiman Marcus and Zappos.com. “But [we’re] really doing this because there’s been a demand. Every day I get e-mails from our die-hard customers asking when we’ll do shoes.”

Making this new shoe line official, they’ve signed an agreement with Deer Stags out of New York to produce the Foot Petals shoe line. This partnership seemed to be ideal for Foot Petals due to the fact that they’re family-run and have very similar company values. The strategic partnership here was crucial for the success of the line and president and founder, Aldatz seems to feel that Deer Stags was the best partner for this new fashion venture.

There will be 15 styles available at first, featuring the Foot Petals comfort technology, which you can expect to see come fall 2010. Though, the plan is to have this collection expand in spring of 2011. Price ranges will be from $79 to $129 and will most likely be found wherever Foot Petals are currently sold.

I’m not sure about you LUX Nation, but my feet seem to already rejoice at the idea of comfort wear!

So LUX-shoephiles, what do you think of this new collection of shoes by the LUX comfort accessory brand?
