Radar: Does your wardrobe predict weather?

eBay sure thinks so. Ruth Szyszkowski, a spokesperson for eBay, told The Daily Mail that they’re calling the trend “Mini Skirt Meteorology”. Apparently, the online marketplace conducted some sales analysis that revealed consumers predicting weather trends by cashing in on short skirts. When there was a heat wave in the UK, skirt sales doubled a week in advance, even before the weatherman made the forecast. And that wasn’t a rare occurrence. Apparently skirt sales rise three days before a climate change. Are british babes psychic? Or does their penchant for barely-there clothes have an affect on the rain gods? Who knows. For now, we can emulate everyone at eBay since they will obviously be at the forefront of “mini skirt meteorology”.
