Radar: Project Runway spins two new shows
UPI announced today that the Lifetime Network is going to create two spinoff shows, with their roots from the hit show “Project Runway”. Remember Santino Rice’s impressions of Tim Gunn? Well, apparently they won him enough fans to score a show. However, he’s not going solo. Our favorite male debutante, Austin Scarlett, will be by his side in the reality show. A new spin on the odd couple? Lifetime has stayed pretty mum on the new show, but Variety reports that it’ll be like “Queer Eye for the Straight Guy” except Santino will balance it out with his hetero-side. The duo will search America for people in need of a makeover. Known for their ridiculous personalities, Austin a demure yet serious designer with a love for flouncy florals, and Santino for his sarcasm and low tolerance for pleasantries, it’s bound to be a ratings hit if they’re half as funny as their Project Runway antics.
The second planned venture for the Network will feature the one-and-only Heidi Klum & popstar husband, Seal. Women marvel at her career and body, especially after having so many adorable babies! Viewers are gonna get a peek in the Klum home in a new series dubbed, “Love’s Divine”. Klum and Seal will travel across the U.S., using their successful matrimony as an example, counseling couples in marital distress. This couple seems to know where to find life’s sweets spots to create balance and bliss….to be continued.
