Runway Recap: Naomi Nails It Again

Naomi rocked the runway again, this time far surpassing simply strutting the catwalk. Her altruistic efforts with Fashion For Relief wrapped one of the most unique events in Indian fashion history, making “Mai Mumbai” the talk of Lakme Fashion Week. The fashion show was an international collaboration in which great designers from around the world donated creations displayed on the runway by Indian celebrities. Even cooler, these one of a kind goodies are available to the public on eBay with proceeds going to Citizens for Justice & Peace, an organization working to provide relief and rehabilitation to victims of mass crimes. (How cool is that? Did you ever think you could get your hands on one of those beautiful designer duds that send our jaws to the floor when we see them on the runway?) Check out goods from Carolina, DVF, D&G, DK, LV, Manolo, Cavalli, Vera, Versace, Valentino, you name it, they made a contribution! The window of opportunity for auction items is 5-8 days, so you best hurry on over and have a look.

Here’s the long and short of it: the show was a total success and Naomi has proven to us again that her heart is in the right place, doing her part as a change agent to make a difference in the world. Next up, Naomi will be working with Mandella in South Africa. We can’t wait to see what she gets up to! wink
